To solve in to base 16.

Base 16 consists of numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15

But A = 10,  B = 11, C = 12, D = 13, E = 14, F = 15

Changing 5309 to base 16.

we divide 5309 by 16 and take note of the remainder:

Answer = 14BD  base 16.
