Answer:

The distance of  the base of the wall to the ladder is 5 Feet .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given

A 13 foot ladder is leaning against a wall.

If the point where the ladder meets the wall is 12 feet above the ground.

As shown in the figure given below.

Now by using the pythagorean theorem

Hypotenuse² = Perpendicular² + Base²

AB² = AC² + BC²

As

AB = 13 foot

AC = 12 foot

Put in the above

13² = 12² + BC²

169 = 144 + BC²

BC² = 169 - 144

BC = \sqrt{25}

BC = 5 Feet

Therefore the distance of  the base of the wall to the ladder is 5 Feet .

70/6 in a mixed number
Arada [10]
6 can go into 70 11 times without having a remainder so the 11 goes on the outside as your whole number. Then you have 4 left over to get to 70 so 4 becomes your numerator. The 6 stays as your denominator. So you have

11 \frac{4}{6}

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
kirza4 [7]

Answer:

Surface area = 96 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's cube root the volume to find the length of one side of the cube.

64^\frac{1}{3} = 4

Therefore each side is 4 m.

Surface area of one side = 4x4 = 16

A cube has 6 sides.

Total surface area of the cube = 16*6 = 96 m^2
