I had 1/4 lasagna left i want to split that equally into 3 days how much would i eat each day?

1/4 divided by 3
3/1 would become 1/3 because you changed from division to multiplication
1/4 times 1/3= 1/12

In this problem you have to divide $\frac{1}{3}/ \frac{4}{1}$ you reciprocate $\frac{3}{1}$ this means that you switch the numerator and denominator. So, once you divide the answer is $\frac{1}{12}$, you would eat  $\frac{1}{12}$ lasagna each day.
