It's a plant.

That lets out A B C and E. None of them are correct with the exception of possibly B which might be classed (in some cases) as an plant.

I don't know how invasive they can be, but they are fast growing. Your answer must be D. When you look at pictures of this growth, it almost looks like a carpet of grass. It is also other places than Japan. The US has this stuff, but I couldn't tell you where. Our winters are likely too long to have such a thing growing here, but we might have it. I get the feeling if it is anywhere in Canada, it would be in Southern Ontario, but that has not been mentioned.

Concept map: how do different types of molecules pass through membranes
zlopas [31]
The cell membrane is semi permeable in nature, that is, it allows the passage of some substances while it disallows some substances. Small and non polar molecules pass quite easily through the cell membrane but large and polar molecules can not do this.
The substances which can easily pass through the cell membranes make use of passive transports such as diffusion and facilitated diffusion to enter the cells while substances which can not pass through the cell membranes on their own make use of active transport. Examples of active transport are endocytosis and ectocytosis,

Locomotion in Metazoa is usually due to the contraction of what? a. Skeleton b. Muscle c. Skin d. Nerves
Ede4ka [16]

Answer: b. Muscles

A metazoa is a division of animal kingdom that includes all animals expect protozoa and sponges. Metazoa division includes multicelluar animals, which exhibit highly differentiated cells. They have muscular and nerve system and well coordinated tissues and organs. Locomotion requires a coordination activity of muscular, skeletal and neural system. It is mainly achieved by contraction and relaxation of muscles that occurs due to specialized muscle proteins named as actin and myosin which receives signals from nerves.

Hence, locomotion in metazoa is due to contraction of muscles.
