Competition - when space is full pack organisms compete for resources and the sooner the resources are gone. Predation - organisms feed on and kill animals lowering their population growth and the prey population growth, same as herbivore and human prey. Disease - again feeds on hosts. Stress from overcrowding - females could kill offspring. Hurricanes (density-independent limiting factors).
