All calories are technically the same because it contains different types of sugar, fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. In any particular food, can it be considered good or bad.  Any source can provide the same energy to your body. 

Bottom line is that you can still get fat by eating an excessive amount of healthy food just as you can lose weight by cutting down the amount of unhealthy food you eat.

With one that contains sugary, fat foods, you're still getting your caloric intake, but it's made of very little nutrients, and that allows your body to store more fat and endanger your health. A diet with carbs, fats, proteins allows your body to get the most out of what your eating.
