The femur has more of a rough look to it. The femur is The largest bone of the body connecting to the acetabulum ( hip bone socket) and helps support the weight of the body. It can withstand more pressure than the humerus bone. I think the structural difference in these two bones is what makes the difference in the markings and features.</span>
