Her percent increase is 47%

282.24 / 192.00 = 1.47

1.47 = 147%

Take the difference from 100% because you were already at 100%, the difference is 47%.

divide the  282.24 by 192

282.24/192 = 1.47, take the decimal ( .47 ) multiply by 100 for percent = 47%

double check 192*.47 = 90.24, 192 + 90.24 = 282.24

In parallelogram ABCD , diagonals AC¯¯¯¯¯ and BD¯¯¯¯¯ intersect at point E, AE=2x2−3x , and CE=x2+4 .
spin [16.1K]
If the diagonals of the parallelogram intersect with each other, this means that the diagonals bisect each other. Thus,

    AE = CE

Substituting the equations,

  2x² - 3x = x² + 4

The values of x from the equation are equal to 4 and -1.

  AE = 2(4)² - 3(4) = 20

Hence, AC is equal to 40.

Using the scale 1/2 inch = 100 miles, figure out the number
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

  50 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply the given scale numbers by 1/2 to find your answer:

  1/2 in = 100 mi

  (1/2)(1/2 in) = (1/2)(100 mi) . . . . multiply the ratio values by 1/2

  1/4 in = 50 mi

Jackson buys a grape snow cone on a hot day. By the time he eats all the "snow" off the top, the paper cone is filled with 27\pi
anyanavicka [17]

Question:

Jackson buys a grape snow cone on a hot day. By the time he eats all the "snow" off the top, the paper cone is filled with 27\pi27π27, pi cm^3 3 start superscript, 3, end superscript of melted purple liquid. The radius of the cone is 333 cm. What is the height of the cone?

Answer:

The height of the cone is 9 \ cm

Explanation:

It is given that the radius of the cone is 3 \ cm

The volume of the cone is 27\pi

The height of the cone can be determine using the formula,

$V=\frac{1}{3} \pi r^{2} h$

Substituting the values V=27 \pi and r=3, we get,

$27 \pi=\frac{1}{3} \pi(3)^{2} h$

Multiplying both sides by 3, we have,

$81 \pi= 9\pi h$

Dividing both sides by $9 \pi$, we have,

9=h

Thus, the height of the cone is 9 \ cm
