Why did australia undergo a population boom in the mid 1800s?
Art [367]
Australia underwent a population boom because:

Australia was under the British 'empire' during the time. When the British prisons became overcrowded, many of them were shipped to Australia to live there. This increased the amount of people living in Australia exponentially, and eventually cities were founded

Please help I got stuck on this question
gregori [183]

Answer: C " If elected, I will lower taxes for smaller businesses."

Explanation: Under many previous Republican presidents they have introduced tax cuts for many businesses large and small, Including a somewhat recent tax cut under President Trump. Which the current president elect is suspected to pull back.

Tip: For future reference, note that the Republican Party does not believe in subsidized housing, or universal healthcare for all. However increasing spending on public education is a somewhat divided topic within the party.

When did modern humans, or Homo sapiens firs appear
vitfil [10]
The current thinking is around 200,000 years ago, but I would argue against this by saying that humans had not yet developed the same mental capacity that we have today, as some cognitive ability would have been needed in making art, which of course seems to have appeared around 70,000 years ago in its geometric form, where as the figurative animal paintings and carvings came to be around 40-35 thousand years ago. So, humans were physically definitely modern around 200ka, but mentally, this is unlikely. It is of course possible to argue that behavioural changes need not to be dictated by physiological or cognitive changes. Art could just be an invention
