1 answer:

Answer:

\displaystyle equal\:to \\ Line\:B: 1 \\ Line\:A: -1

Step-by-step explanation:

Starting from the y-intercept of \displaystyle [0, -2],you do \displaystyle \frac{rise}{run}by either moving one block <em>south</em> over one block <em>west</em> or one block <em>north</em> over one block <em>east</em> [<em>west</em> and <em>south</em> are negatives].

Now, for Line <em>A</em>, we need to convert this <em>Linear</em><em> </em>Standard Equation to Slope-Intercept Form, \displaystyle y = mx + b,where the slope is represented by <em>m</em>:

x + y = 3

- x - x

__________

\displaystyle y = -x + 3

So, the slope of Line <em>A</em> is \displaystyle -1,and since −1 is less than 1, <em>less than</em> would be the answer, HOWEVER, they BOTH have some slope of 1, so since −1 is the negative <em>absolute</em><em> </em><em>value</em><em> </em>of 1, <em>equal</em><em> </em><em>to</em><em> </em>will be the answer.

I am joyous to assist you anytime.

The answer is C, but I don't understand why- can anyone tell me?
finlep [7]

Answer:

It's C because we are adding a number on the x but here we skip 5 so it's 6, and on y we add 4 up but since we skipped 5 we add 8 and we get 24. 6, 24. You may say "but SpiritBear, 17 plus eight is 25" and that is true, but if you notice the lowest dot actually starts on 5, not 4 making C right.

Hope this helped and wasn't too confusing

A, b and c are the sides of a right triangle, where side a is across from angle a, side b is across from angle b, and side c is
Vera_Pavlovna [14]
<span>Find missing length :
</span>
a² + b² = c²
c² = 19² + 34²
c² = 1517
c = √1517
c = 38.95 units.

Find missing angle A:

\dfrac{a}{\sin(a)} =  \dfrac{c}{\sin(c)}

\dfrac{19}{\sin(a)} =  \dfrac{38.95}{\sin(90)}

\sin(a) = 0.488

a = sin^{-1} (0.488)

a = 29.2 \textdegree

Find Missing B:

\dfrac{b}{\sin(b)} = \dfrac{c}{\sin(c)}

\dfrac{34}{\sin(b)} = \dfrac{38.95}{\sin(90)}

\sin(b) = 0.873

b = sin^{-1}(0.873)

b = 60.8 \textdegree

Answer: Missing length =  38.95 units ; Missing angles =  29.2°  and  60.8°
