t= time taken  

g= acceleration due to gravity

So according to question

$t^2=4.92$

t=2.1428 sec

But Emtiaz says that the sky diver should take 1.5 sec to fall 187.5 feet

But the actual time taken is 2.1428 seconds,we can say that he is wrong.
