Find the standard form of the equation of the parabola with a focus at (3, 0) and a directrix at x = -3.

Notice the picture below

the directrix is a vertical line, and the focus point is to the right of it
the vertex is always half-way between those two, at h,k coordinates

thus the parabola is opening sideways, to the right, thus the "y" is the
variable that's at the second power

or \bf \begin{array}{llll}
\boxed{(y-{{ k}})^2=4{{ p}}(x-{{ h}})} \\\\
(x-{{ h}})^2=4{{ p}}(y-{{ k}})\\
\end{array}
\qquad
\begin{array}{llll}
vertex\ ({{ h}},{{ k}})\\
{{ p}}=\textit{distance from vertex to }\\
\qquad \textit{ focus or directrix}
\end{array}

so... use those values, and plug them in the equation

Convert 2.251 and 2.295 to meters. Write an equation<br><br>Thank You so very much if you help.
Anon25 [30]
2.251 cm
2.295 cm
2.3 cm

1 Metre is equal to 100 Centimetres

so To get from Cm to M we have to divide by 100

2.251 / 100 = 0.02251 m
2.295 / 100 = 0.02295 m
2.3 / 100 = 0.023 m

What is the sampling method used in the following scenario? The marketing manager for an electronics chain store wants informati
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The method applied in this scenario is called simple random sampling. A sample of 100 customers is chosen from a larger population of customers and each customer has the same chance of being selected for the survey at any given time. Also, the chance of selecting 100 customers from each store is the same during the sampling process. The order of sampling at each store does not follow a certain order, thus, It is different from systematic random sampling.
