Answer:

The dog catches the fox after 2 Minutes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Time=\frac{Distance}{Average\:Speed}

Let the dog distance to the point where he catches the fox=x

The Dog's Speed=750 meters per minute.

Therefore: the dog's time, Time=\frac{x}{750}

Since, they were 60 meters apart initially, the fox distance to the same point =x-60

The fox's Speed=720 meters per minute.

Therefore: the dog's time to reach that point, Time=\frac{x-60}{720}

Since the time taken to reach the point is equal,

\frac{x-60}{720}=\frac{x}{750}\\\text{Cross Multiply}\\720x=750(x-60)\\720x=750x-45000\\720x-750x=-45000\\-30x=-45000\\x=1500

Therefore: Time taken=t=\frac{1500}{750}=2 Minutes

The dog catches the fox after 2 Minutes.
