What do the pictures reveal about the US campaign in Germany in 1945?
aleksley [76]

The correct answer to this question is B) “American troops had to advance through areas devastated by war.”

The pictures reveal that during the United States campaign in Germany in 1945, American troops had to advance through areas devastated by war.

During the final months of World Word II, the Allied forces invaded German territory with strategies designed to invade and capture the Rhine River banks. The Allied forces designed four operations in February and March 1945 to do so. Those were operation Grenade and operation Veritable in February, and operation Undertone and operation Lumberjack in March. As it is revealed in the pictures, during the United States campaign in Germany in 1945, American troops had to advance through areas devastated by war.
