Any number that is 10% of another number is just saying it's been divided by 10. That means to work out the original number, you do the opposite. (multiply).
Therefore:12 × 10 = 120.
The value is 120.

Fofino [41]

Answer:

The probability of hitting a single or a double is 1/5 or 20% or 20/100 or 0.2

Step-by-step explanation:

In probability, whenever we are to answer an ‘or’ question, we add up the probabilities involved.

The probability of hitting a single is 15%, that is same as 15/100 or just simply 0.15

The probability of hitting a double is 5%, that is simply 5/100 or just simply 0.05

The probability of hitting a single or a double = Probability of hitting a single + Probability of hitting a double = 0.15 + 0.05 = 0.20 or 20/100 or 1/5

Which equation represents a proportional relationship?
iren2701 [21]
The equation that represents a proportional relationship is:

y = 32x

Because:

y/x = 32

So that implies that y is directly proportional to x.

Note that other equations represent a proportional relationship in some form, only that the relationship y = 32x is the only direct proportional relationship.

Ivan and Tanya share £150 in the ratio 4: 1<br>Work out how much more Ivan gets compared to Tanya.
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

Ivan got £90 more than Tanya.

Step-by-step explanation:

Ivan and Tanya share the amount £150 in the ratio of 4 : 1

Amount received by Ivan = 150\times \frac{4}{(4+1)}

                                          = 150\times \frac{4}{5}

                                          = £120

Similarly, amount received by Tanya = 150\times \frac{1}{(4+1)}

                                                             = £30

Difference in their amounts = 120 - 30

                                              = £90

Therefore, Ivan got £90 more than Tanya.
