Answer: 4. If you don't buy enough boxes for packing, then you aren't very smart.

Explanation: While the first three options state facts, option four is a biased statement because a personal judgment is included, casting an insulting assumption on all subjects who don't buy enough boxes when moving (something that could happen to anyone due to lack of experience/preparation, limited resources, timing, etc.).

Option 4 would be the more biased option because only some people may think that if you don't buy enough boxes you are stupid. Option for is more of an opinion therefore making it biased.

In at least 150 words, explain how the word choice in Rukeyser's "Poem" helps the author to establish a theme in the
Elden [556K]

Answer:

"I lived in the first century of world wars" is the opening line of "Poem" by Muriel Rukeyser (1913-1980) an American poet and political activist. Her best-known poems are about social justice, equality and feminism. Her choice of words establishes her anti-war theme and her efforts to oppose war through her poetry: "Slowly I would get to pen and paper, Make my poems for others unseen and unborn. In the day I would be reminded of those men and women, Brave, setting up signals across vast distances, Considering a nameless way of living, of almost unimagined values." She felt her poetry, which would outlive her, would be a message to those "unseen and unborn" who could work to promote peace and justice. "We would try by any means To reach the limits of ourselves, to reach beyond ourselves, To let go the means, to wake." Here Rukeyser was passing on the baton, as it were, to the generations "beyond ourselves" in the hope that they would be more purposeful peacemakers.

Which of the following does not seem like a way to narrow your topic? Choosing a particular population to focus on Choosing a pa
BARSIC [14]

Answer: Choosing a particular subject like "healthcare' to focus on

Explanation:

There are various ways to narrow the scope of a research topic such as choosing a particular population, time period, location in the world and causes and the like. This will enable the research to be easier to do and cheaper as well.

Choosing a particular subject will not necessarily narrow a topic because the topic is most likely under a subject as well. Basing it again on a subject would broaden the scope as subjects are general in nature.
