This is distance-velocity-time relationship.

recall that dist = velocity*time

so

velocity = 61 mph

distance = 323.3 mi

so to find time we should divide distance by velocity

t = d/v

t = 323.1/61

= 5.3 hrs (to the nearest tenth)

It will take the car 5.3 hours to drive 323.2 miles.
To get this you simply divide 323.2 by 61.
Which gives you 5.3.
To check this you can do 5.3 * 61.
This gives you 323.2.

Hope this helps you! (:

Answer:

127

Step-by-step explanation:

so h(g(-5)) means that solve the function in a specific way. This means that solve for function h but the x is the answer to function g when x is -5. So first what u do is solve for g. Plug -5 in so u get -5-3 which is -8. Then u plug in -8 to function h. U have 2(-8)^2-1. Then u solve the square which is 64. Then u multiply that by 2 to get 128. Then u minus one to get ure final answer of 127. Hope this helps :D

The data show prices of light bulbs at a home improvement store, rounded to the nearest dollar. Find the interquartile range (IQ
Yuliya22 [10]

Answer:

The interquartile range (IQR) of the data set is  <u>8</u>.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The data show prices of light bulbs at a home improvement store, rounded to the nearest dollar.

5, 2, 8, 10, 2, 20, 6, 15, 29, 6, 2, 2, 5, 1, 3.

Now, to find the interquartile range (IQR) of the data set.

So, we arrange first in orders:

1,2,2,2,2,3,5,5,6,6,8,10,15,20,29.

Now, to get the median:

1,2,2,2,2,3,5,<u>5</u>,6,6,8,10,15,20,29.

5 is the median.

So, to get the IQR we need to get the Q1 (median of the first half)  and Q3 (median of the second half):

Q1 = <u>1,2,2,</u>2<u>,2,3,5,</u> 5,6,6,8,10,15,20,29

Q1 = 2.

Q3 = 1,2,2,2,2,3,5,5 ,<u>6,6,8,</u><u>10</u><u>,15,20,29</u>

Q3 = 10.

Now, to calculate the IQR:

IQR = Q3-Q1

IQR=10-2

IQR=8.

Therefore, the interquartile range (IQR) of the data set is 8.
