I believe that the answer is 228 deer because 50 were marked and released. Out of 200, 22 WERE marked. So that means 178 weren't marked. Add 178 and 50, you get 228. Hoped this helped

what is the exact circumference of the base of a cone that has a volume of 1014 pi in^3 and a height of 18 in.
Evgen [1.6K]
\bf \textit{volume of a cone}\\\\
V=\cfrac{\pi r^2 h}{3}\quad
\begin{cases}
r=radius\\
h=height\\
-----\\
V=1014\pi \\
h=18
\end{cases}\implies 1041\pi =\cfrac{\pi \cdot r^2\cdot 18}{3}
\\\\\\
1041\pi =6\pi r^2\implies \cfrac{1041\pi }{6\pi }=r^2\implies \cfrac{347}{2}=r^2\implies \boxed{\sqrt{\cfrac{347}{2}}=r}\\\\
-------------------------------\\\\
\textit{circumference of a }\stackrel{cone's}{circle}\\\\
C=2\pi r\qquad \qquad C=2\pi \left( \boxed{\sqrt{\cfrac{347}{2}}} \right)

This is a variation acitivity:
sergey [27]

\bf \qquad \qquad \textit{direct proportional joint variation} \\\\ \textit{\underline{y} varies jointly with \underline{x} and \underline{z}}\qquad \qquad y=kxz\impliedby \begin{array}{llll} k=constant\ of\\ \qquad variation \end{array} \\\\[-0.35em] \rule{34em}{0.25pt}

\bf \stackrel{\textit{\underline{I} varies jointly with \underline{P} and \underline{t}}}{I=kPt} \\\\\\ \textit{we also know that } \begin{cases} P=2000\\ t=4\\ I=320 \end{cases}\implies 320=k(2000)(4)\implies \cfrac{320}{(2000)(4)} \\\\\\ 0.04=k\qquad therefore\qquad \boxed{I=0.04Pt} \\\\\\ \textit{if P=5000 and t=7, what is \underline{I}?}\qquad I=0.04(5000)(7)\implies I=1400

Which point would not be a solution to the system of linear inequalities shown below?
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

The coordinates (12,7) would NOT be a solution to the system of linear inequalities shown below.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you do the graphing and you look at all your options of coordinates, (12,7) is the only one that is not in the shaded areas or in the lines of the inequalities. Therefore, (12,7) should be the answer to that question. :)
