Here similarity ratio of two similar polygons given. Similarity ratio means ratio of the corresponding length of two similar polygons.

That means here the ratio of the corresponding lengths of two similar polygons is 3:1.

We have to find the ratio of the perimeters of them.

Perimeter is also a linear measurement. So the ratio will be same as for the lengths of the polygons.

Therefore, the ratio of the perimeter of the polygons = 3:1

So, we have got the required answer.

Mr. Sanchez is making pancakes each big batch of Pancakes uses 3/4 cup of milk. If he has 9 cups of milk available how many batc
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

He can make 12 batches of pancake

Step-by-step explanation:

Total amount of milk = 9 cups

One batch of pancake uses 3/4 cup of milk.

y batch of pancake uses 9 cup of milk.

Therefore ( y ) x (3/4) = 9

\frac{3y}{4}  = 9 \\ 3y = 36 \\ y =   \frac{36}{3}  \\ y = 12

What is the equation of the sinusoid shown in the graph?
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

<em>Answer: C</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>The Cosine Function</u>

The graph of a cosine function is a sinusoid that starts at its maximum value of 1 at x=0 and takes x=2π radians to complete a full cycle. The function of the parent cosine function is:

y=\cos x

Both the amplitude A and the angular frequency w of a cosine can be modeled by the function

y=A\cos(\omega x)

The graph of the cosine function shown in the figure has an amplitude of A=3 and it completes a full cycle at x=π/2, thus:

\frac{\pi}{2}\omega =2\pi

Thus:

\omega = 4

Therefore, the equation of the sinusoid is:

y=3\cos (4x)

A,b,c are all positive integers
miv72 [106K]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  77

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use a number of ratio units to represent b that is the LCM of 8 and 6. That value is 24. Then multiplying the first ratio by 3 and the second by 4, we have ...

  a:b = 9:24   and   b:c = 24:44

Then the ratios of all are ...

  a : b : c = 9 : 24 : 44

and the sum is 9+24+44 = 77.
