Ok so since Josh spent 1/2 of his money I assume you will be subtracting in this specific question. So 1/4 - 1/2. The first step in solving this is that you want both fractions to have the same denominator. So you have to ask yourself what factor does 4 and 2 share in common. They both share the number 4 in common. So you will have to set the denominators as 4 now. Now for 1/2 you get 2/4 when you multiply both the numerator and denominatorby 2. Now you will have to do the same thing for the fraction 1/4 so the new fraction you will get when you multiply the numerator and denominator by 1 is 1/4. So now you have 1/4-2/4. Ok so your answer shouldbe 1/4. I realized I should of put the fraction 2/4 first. I hoped that helped!!!!

The side lengths of a triangle are 6, 8, and 12. Is this a right triangle?
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

D.

It's incorrect, because 6 squared = 36, 8 squared = 64, add them together and you get 100. 12 squared does NOT equal 100, it equals 144.

(To find the hypotenuse {longest side of the triangle}, you square the two short sides, add them together, and finally, divide it by the provided number, and see if the number matches the provided number's square.)

How is the scientific use of the term digital different from the common use
Mamont248 [21]
While “digital” commonly refers to electronics in general, the scientific definition of digital is much different. “Digital” in information science refers to the finite, discontinuous phenomenon (e.g., on or off states in a light bulb) as opposed to infinitely varying, continuous analog phenomenon (e.g., the brightness of daylight). It can also refer to representing data in figures as opposed to data represented in pictorial form.

The table lists the results from a survey (of questionable accuracy) of adults and how much they spend on a night out.
daser333 [38]
You are going to make a graph. The x-axis will represent age while the y-axis represents the amount of money spent on a night out. Graph the ordered pairs, making a scatter plot. Once you have all of the points on the graph, answer the question by saying something like "the older someone is, the less money they spend on a night out" but make sure it's accurate. (:
