Answer:  (x,y) → (-x,-y)

Step-by-step explanation:

In geometry , a rotation is an transformation of a shape by rotating it with a certain number of degree about a particular point which is called the center of rotation , and is represented by R_{(o,x)} ,where x is the angle of rotation about a center point o.

Now  consider the preimage of triangle ABC be (x,y) and for angle of rotation for rotating triangle ABC to A'B'C' is  180° or -180° about center of rotation(0,0).

i.e. \text {under }R_{(0,0),180^{\circ}}

the image formed is (-x,-y).

In figure we can see the image of triangle ABC( In first quadrant ) is triangle A'B'C in third quadrant with center of rotation origin (0,0).

because you would take 3/4 and multiply it by 3/3 to get the denominator to 12
and you would multiply 1/3 by 4/4 again to get the denominator to 12.
You are getting the denominator to 12 because 12 is 3 and 4s Most Common multiple!
Now that you have multiplied them you should have 9/12 and 4/12
Then you subtract 4 from 9 to get 5.
So the answer is 5/12!

The amount of chlorine in a swimming pool is proportional to the volume of water. The pool has 2.5 milligrams of chlorine per li
stira [4]

Answer:

There are <u>20,000 milligrams</u> chlorine in the pool.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The chlorine per liter of water in the pool is 2.5 milligrams.

The  volume of water in the swimming pool is 8000 gallons.

Now, to find the quantity of chlorine in the pool.

Let the quantity of chlorine be x.

The gallons of water in the swimming pool = 8000.

The milligrams of chlorine per liter of water in the pool = 2.5.

According to question, the amount of chlorine in the swimming pool is proportional to the volume of water.

So, 2.5 mg of chlorine is equivalent to 1 liter.

Thus, x is equivalent to 8000.

Now, to get the quantity of chlorine by using cross multiplication method:

\frac{2.5}{1} =\frac{x}{8000}

<em>By cross multiplying we get:</em>

20000=x\\\\x=20,000\ mg.

Therefore, there are 20,000 milligram chlorine in the pool.

Solve: x - 1 (x - 1)² + ax - a.
borishaifa [10]

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2><u>Given :-</u></h2>

x-1-(x-1)²+ax-a

<h2><u>To find :-</u></h2>

Factorize the expression ?

<h2><u>Solution :-</u></h2>

Given expression is x-1-(x-1)²+ax-a

It can be written as

(x-1)-(x-1)²+(ax-a)

=> (x-1)-(x-1)(x-1)+a(x-1)

=> (x-1)[1-(x-1)+a]

=> (x-1)(1-x+1+a)

=> (x-1)(2-x+a)

<h2><u>Answer:-</u></h2>

x-1-(x-1)²+ax-a = (x-1)(2-x+a)

Hope this helps!!
