The correct answer is a chairperson.

A political party chairperson is the head of a political party at a local, state or national level.

The chairperson acts as the chief executive officer of the party and oversees the party's different activities such as: operations, election strategy, candidate recruitment and fundraising.

The state political party chairperson is the highest-ranking party officer at the state level. He calls meetings and oversees the party's operations, its fundraising and the election of candidates.

State party chairpersons are elected through a state convention, caucus or a primary election. They may receive compensation or serve on a voluntary basis.

How and why did the British government tighten its regulation of colonial trade and control over colonial governments in the lat
Dovator [93]

Answer:

The king tightened control over the colonies because the war cost a lot so he put taxes to get more money and when the colonists refused to pay the taxes the king got worried about how much loyalty the colonists had so he tightened his grip. The colonial governments were based on the idea that the purpose of the governments was to protect the people's natural rights to life, liberty and property. The king created a government of laws. The people who made and enforced the laws did not have unlimited power and they, too, had to obey the laws. This meant that the colonial governments could not pass laws that violated the British constitution.

PLZZZZZ HELP 15 POINTS
Elenna [48]

Answer:

Point: One effect of being an Upstander when confronted with a bullying situation is that it, in most cases, ends the bullying as far as the person being bullied is concerned.

Explanation:

Evidence: This happened to me when I was in third grade. I was a serial victim of one of my classmates until another classmate who had just joined the class from another school stood up to him on my behalf.

Explanation: Many bullies continue in their nefarious practices because rather than discourage their actions, others out of fear either act as their sidekick (thus joining and aiding them), endorse their action by laughing at the bullied thus acting as a reinforcer, or they simply ignore because they are either indifferent or unable to do anything about it. These are called outsiders.

Because bullies are normally used to inflicting fear and terror, they are usually taken aback and can't handle the situation (in most cases) when out of the blues, someone stands up to them.

Linkback: So because bullies have fears too, and often prey on the "weak", when anyone is brave enough to stand up to them for themselves or for another person, they usually just back down. Sometimes, out of ego, they may attempt to test the strenght of the upstander. With repeated successful resistance, they finally let go of the bullied.

Cheers

How did the Supreme Court respond to President Truman’s decision to keep steel mills open in 1952 during a labor dispute?
ki77a [65]
In 1952 there was a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court declared in Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer that the President did not have authority to seize the steel mills. Justice Hugo Black held the view that the president had no legal authority under the Constitution to seize individual property on the basis of national security. Since Congress had not otherwise authorized president Truman to seize the steel mills, he therefore could not do so.
