The World Health Organization (WHO), ensures that there are five major
deficiencies that hinder the fight against the disease: lack of access to drug
resistance tests, an increase in the number of people with the multi-drug
variant that does not receive treatment, the continued use of outdated models
and expensive, limited access to promising new and reused drugs and a shortage
of funds.
