Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Harper Lee's "To Kill A Mockingbird" is a story of racial prejudice and social inequality in the American south of Alabama. Even though the story is narrated from the perspective of the youngest character Jean Louise "Scout" Finch, the whole plot covers detailed elements of the story.

In Chapter I of the book, Scout gave us an introduction to the place and the people living in it. She also mentioned the Radleys who had seemed to be a weird sort of family, but nonetheless good people. Atticus Finch, the head of the Finch family and a lawyer in the court had warned them of making any noise and commotion in the yard for Old Mr. Radley was dying. He even went to the extent of making sure that they don't make any noise by ensuring Calpurnia to oversee the children.

jarptica [38.1K]

Answer: No, his experiment is not designed correctly.

Explanation: He didn't use the same measurements in each experiment. He should've either buried them all in the yard, or she should've kept them all in pots. Not having them in the same environment could affect the results of his experiment, thus making it inaccurate.

Read this adapted excerpt from "The Third Philippic," written by Demosthenes in 342 B.C.:
maria [59]

Answer: B.  second person

Explanation:

In the second person point of view, the narrator tells the story to either the audience, or another character, and uses the word '<em>you'</em>. This point of view is also recognized by the use of pronouns 'your', 'yours', 'yourself', or 'yourselves'. In any case, the common use of the second person pronouns in a text indicate that it is written in the second person point of view. This is exactly what happens in this passage - the narrator includes phrases such as<em> 'I assure</em><em><u> you</u></em><em>', 'may </em><em><u>you</u></em><em> never find </em><em><u>yourselves</u></em><em>...', '..to do anything that </em><em><u>you</u></em><em> should do...', '</em><em><u>you</u></em><em> will not suffer any harm'.</em>

As opposed to second person point of view, the narrator speaks in the first person when he talks about himself, his opinions or experiences. Third person limited point of view is used when the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of one particular character. However, neither of these two options is the case in this excerpt.

What can you infer from prince prospero's name?
mixer [17]
If you take a look at the name Prospero, you will probably be reminded of the word prosperous. So, we can assume, based on the Prince's name, that he is prosperous, which means rich and successful, which is true, if you've read the story. However, he is a crazy, selfish hedonist, who doesn't think about his subjects at all, but rather just wants to please and save himself.
