The Toleration Act of 1649 granted religious freedom to all who professed a belief in Jesus Christ.

John LOCKE's idea of natural rights were that of Life, Liberty and Property. He also believed all men were created equal. Jefferson uses the idea of natural rights in the preamble of the Declaration of Independence in the belief that all men are created equal, and are endowed with unalienable rights such as Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
Assuming you're referring to World War I (or World War II for that matter...) you should include in this letter--if you're an American--how you are very much against getting involved in a European conflict, since America was very "isolationist" during this time.
