There's many ways in fact. Let's say a person is sitting on a bike. If they are on top of the hill sitting there it's potential energy. Then they ride down the hill, kinetic has taken place. (type of energy to energy) So its an energy transformation too! And the laws of conservation of energy states, "Energy can't be made or destroyed.". Mass adds to the velocity and speed.

Explain how a rollercoaster converts potential energy to kinetic energy
Tomtit [17]
When the coaster ascends one of the smaller hills that follows the initial lift hill, its kinetic energy changes back to potential energy. In this way, the course of the track is constantly converting energy from kinetic to potential and back again.

Mila [183]

A change in temperature affects an enzyme by causing the enzyme to change it's shape.

what is an enzyme?

An enzyme is a substance that catalyzes chemical reactions.

 • Temperature is one of the major factors that aid enzymes action.

 • Increase in temperature could increase the rate of enzyme.

 • However, at a very high temperatures, the enzyme can be denatured thereby changing it shape or structure and the enzyme may no longer bind to the substrate or function effectively this will then reduce the rate of chemical reaction.

Therefore, a change in temperature i.e very high temperature can change the shape of an enzyme.
