Darius reads 2/10 of a book in 3 days. Or 1/5 of a book in 3 days.

So to read one entire book, it would take him 5 times 3 days or 15 days.

1 book * (3 days/ (1/5) book) = 15 days

Point O is the center of this circle, what is mBCA?

A) 56
B) 62
C) 72
D) 76
Dennis_Churaev [7]
Answer: B.) 62

sum of interior angles of quadrilateral = 360

lines DB and DA are tangent to the circle, so they're at a right angle to the lines OB and OA respectively. so to find mBOA = 360 - 56 - 90 - 90
so mBOA = 124

mBCA = (1/2)mBOA
mBCA = (1/2)(124)
mBCA = 62°

Y = 5- 2
1-3x + y = -12

What is the value of x and y ?
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

x=5.333

y=3

Step-by-step explanation:

given, y=5-2............(1)

1-3x+y=-12...............(2)

y=5-2=3

put y=3 in equ (2)

1-3x+3=-12

1+3+12=3x

3x=16

x=\frac{16}{3}

x=5.333

hence, x=5.333

What is p(4,4) on two consecutive rolls of a number cube
poizon [28]
The probability of rolling 1 number, a four, on a 6-sided number cube, is 1/6.
On the second roll, the probability of rolling 1 number, a four, is again 1/6 (remember theoretical probability for one event does not consider previous rolls).
But the probability of rolling a four on 2 on consecutive rolls will be the probability of the first event times the probability of the second event. Think of it as rolling a four on the first time and the second time, and whenever there is "and" you need to multiply the probabilities. The probability of rolling a four on two consecutive rolls is
(1/6)*(1/6) = 1/36.
