X would equal 16 because you can set up equivalent proportions. If you do 12/3 you get 4. Therefore x/4 should equal 4. You can multiply 4*4 which gives you 16. Therefore x = 16. Hope this helps. Please rate, leave a thanks, and mark a brainliest answer (Not necessarily mine). Thanks, it really helps.

Find the equation of the line with a slope of 12 that passes through the point (3, -1)
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

y = 12x - 37

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

here m = 12, thus

y = 12x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (3, - 1) into the partial equation

- 1 = 36 + c ⇒ c = - 1 - 36 = - 37

y = 12x - 37 ← is the equation of the line

Identify all solutions for a triangle with A - 38°, b= 10, and a=8. Round to the nearest tenth.
Alex

Answer:

B= 50.35°

C=91.65°

c= 12.77

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A = 38°

b= 10 and a=8.

Required:

angles B and C, and sides c.

By  using the rule for law of sines

sin B=b\frac{sinA}{a} = \frac{(10)(0.62)}{8} => 0.77

B= sin^-^1(0.77) => 50.35°

For angle C:

angle C= 180 - A - B => 180 - 38 - 50.35

            =91.65°

For side c:

c=a(\frac{sinC}{sinA} ) => 8(\frac{0.99}{0.62})

c= 12.77
