Solve this as you would an equation.  Subtract 5x from both sides and subtract 7 from both sides and what you get is -10 \leq 2x.  Solve that for x and get that -5 \leq x which of course means that x \geq -5 which is D in your choices.

n200080 [17]
The lowest common multiple of 12 and 27 is 108.

12 x 9 = 108  and
27 x 4 = 108 .

So she has to buy 9 packs of cards ... 108 of them ... and 4 packs of envelopes.

Use Natural Logarithms to solve the equation
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

A) 0.106

Step-by-step explanation:

8e^3x + 4 = 15

Subtract 4 from each side

8e^3x + 4-4 = 15-4

8e^3x  = 11

Divide each side by 8

8/8e^3x = 11/8

e^(3x) = 11/8

Take the natural log of each side

ln(e^(3x)) = ln(11/8)

3x = ln(11/8)

Divide by 3

3x/3 = 1/3 ln(11/8)

x = 1/3 ln(11/8)

x =.106151244

To the nearest thousandth

x = .106
