The mileage is 27.6 mi/gal
Miles driven = 552.4 mi

Calculate gallons used.
gallons = \frac{552.4 \, mi}{27.6 \, mi/gal} = 20.015 \, gal

Answer: 20.015 gallons  (approximately 20 gallons)

There is no rate of change.

x=8 and x=13 are horizontal lines going to infinity and negative infinity, its valid for all reals on those 2 lines.

I'm guessing you left out some information on what kind of interpretation you want of these straight lines.

You have been cleaning diesel dispensers for 35 minutes. You have completed 6 dispensers. How many minutes has it taken you to c
Yanka [14]
Just divide the number of minutes it took to clean 6 dispensers by 6.

35 / 6 = 5.83

So it would take about 5.83 minutes to clean one dispenser.

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

Discussion:

The diagram is a bit hard to read but I think the triangle has a base length of 4 and an altitude of 1   (gotten by counting dots). Then the area of the triangle is

= (1/2) bh

= (1/2) 4 * 1 =

Sound waves can be ranked by their intensity, I, given in the formula below, where r is the distance from the source of a sound
Ket [755]

Answer:

D: r=1/2 sqrt(P/πI)

Step-by-step explanation:

P=4πIr²

We want to solve the equation for r

First divide each side of the equation by 4πI

P/4πI =4πIr²/4πI

P/4πI =r²

Then we need to take the square root of each side.  Normally we would take the ± square root, but distance cannot be negative.

sqrt(P/4πI)  = sqrt(r²)

sqrt(P/4πI)  = r

Notice that there is a 4 in the denominator.  sqrt(4) = 2

sqrt(P/πI)* 1/sqrt(4)  = r

sqrt(P/πI)* 1/2  = r

1/2 sqrt(P/πI) = r
