Ater the Protestant Reform in the 16th century many minor religious groups appeared in different countries. Some of them were the settlers that came to America seeking for freedom to practice their beliefs and care for their families in the precpts of God. They were Puritans (English); Luterans (German and Swedish); Jews; Quackers and many others. Even Catholics immigrated to the New World.
