The early signs/symptoms for fifth's disease include :  a low fever accompanied by a sore throat, headache, a very stuffed and/or runny nose, along with fatigue..  You may also eventually get a rash.  You're only contagious at the start of the sickness, it can last anywhere between 4 - 12 days.
