Blue is #1 and y intercept is -1 Red is #2 and y intercept is 2 Black is #3 and y intercept is 1 Pink is #4 and y intercept is -3 Not sure on slopes though
Just remember 'm' has a numerator and denominator characterized by rise over run. Rise means move up or down and run means left or right. So a slope of 4 can be rewritten as 4/1 right? Since 4/1 is simply equal to 4. The beauty of rewriting it in that form is because we can see the rise and run factor. You would rise and run in a direction that would result in a positive slope or negative slope orientation. First locate the y intercept which is +b for the form y=mx+b. The y intercept is -b for the form y=mx-b. Both of these cases are true regardless if m is positive or negative. Then discover your value of m. If m is negative then from your y-int (the value of b on the y-axis), move up and to the left (not to the right as this would be a positive slope orientation instead!) by that rise over run factor and from the same y-int point, move down and to right by the same rise over run factor. Connect the dots and you have the line drawn correctly
