Does anyone know the answer to this question. I already tried A and C.
Archy [21]

I think the answer would have to be D. If the diameter, which is the distance from one point on the circle through the center to another point on the circle, is halved then the amount of concrete that will be needed will be multiplied by 4. I think that's right I am so sorry in advance if that was incorrect. Have a beautiful rest of your day. Stay safe. C O V I D - 1 9 IS REAL THIS COULD MEAN YOUR LIFE!!!

Which sequence is modeled by the graph below? Points: (2,8) (3,4) (4,2) (5,1)
asambeis [7]

Answer:

a_n=16 \cdot (\frac{1}{2})^{n-1}

Step-by-step explanation:

This sequence is geometric because while x is going up by 1, the y sequence has a common ratio.

That is, term/previous equals same number per consecutive y terms.

So 1/2=2/4=4/8 is the common ratio.

The first term is when x=1. We can find this y by figuring out what we can multiply to our common ratio, 1/2, to get the next term,8.

Since 8(2)=16, then the first term is 16.

In general,

y=a_1 \cdot (r)^{x-1}

Or if preferred:

a_n=a_1 \cdot (r)^{n-1}

where a_1 is first term and r is common ratio.

Plug in information:

a_n=16 \cdot (\frac{1}{2})^{n-1}

there are nine books stacked on a shelf. the thickness of each book is either 1 inch or 2 inches. the height of the stack of 9 b
k0ka [10]
X is amount of books.
x ≤ 9 if the books are 2 inches thick.
x ≤ 18 if the books are 1 inches thick.

Equation for 1 inches.
x ≤ 18

Equation for 2 inches.
2x ≤ 18

Equation for both.
x + 2y = 18
y is amount of 2 inch books

This one equation above is standard form.
