Jeremiah, Leah and Pascal are sharing a gift and each contributes $12. If Ebenzer agrees to contribute as well and all four pay and equal amount for the same gift, how much does each person pay?
{The answer key says 3, and I'm confused as why it is.}

Well, 4 people are each paying the same amount... the price they are all paying together is $12... basically, do 12 / 4, and you get three.

Well, there are four people that are going to pay the same amount. and twelve divided by four is three.
