Explanation:

As the population of human beings is increasing, the rate and amount of consumption of resources be it food , petroleum etc. is also increasing with the a high rate. The more the resource are consumed (be it food, petroleum, coal, wood etc,) more is the waste generated in the form of sewage waste, pollution (air , water, solid etc.), industrial waste, municipal waste etc.  Thus it can be said that the human waste and human population growth are directly proportional to each other and thus the higher the population, the higher will be the waste .
