Answer:

2 1/6 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

It walks 1 1/2 miles in 3 1/4 hours.

So it walks 1 mile in (3 1/4 ) / (1 1/2) hours.

= 13/4 / 3/2

= 13/4 * 2/3

= 26/12 hours

= 2 1/6 hours.

two species of birds are being compared. Species A can fly 18.9 miles in 42 minutes, while species b can fly 20.3 miles in 58 mi
AysviL [449]
Species A: 18.9 miles / 42 minutes = 0.45 miles per minute
Species B: 20.3 miles / 58 minutes = 0.35 miles per minute
Therefore, species A is faster and flies at a speed of 0.45 miles per minute
(27 mph)
0.45 x 60 = 27 mph

your friend purchased a medium pizza for $10.31 with with a 30% off coupon. What is the price of a medium pizza without a coupon
Olin [163]
$7.22 would be the answer because 70% of 10.31 is what you are looking for which is 7.217 which is rounded to 7.22 I know this is right because I just learned this and I am in advanced math 6th grade.

I don't get it
i need help!!
9966 [12]
"help..." said the high schooler.
"No," said Life, "figure it out yourself."
Then the rejected high schooler went to watch YouTube to relieve stress, hour and hours passed by until the high schooler realized he was wasting time.
"Oh no!" He said, "I have wasted time again! How will I ever get pass high school?"
"We will help you," said the flash cards, colored pens, and highlighters "we will be your best friend."
After that day, the high schooler never had an all nighter for the rest of high school. (College is a different story)

Moral of the story: Life and cute cat videos will not help you and your homework. Paying attention in class, making flash cards, making your notes colorful with pens and highlighter are what really helps :)

Oh and asking your teacher for help is great too.

To estimate the percentage of a state's voters who support the current
Lady bird [3.3K]

Using the Central Limit Theorem, the percentage that is expected to be the closest to the actual percentage is:

A. The Tribune, at 68%.

What does the Central Limit Theorem state?

It states that for a proportion p in a sample of size n, the sampling distribution of sample proportion is approximately normal with mean \mu = p and standard error s = \sqrt{\frac{p(1 - p)}{n}}, as long as np \geq 10 and n(1 - p) \geq 10.

From this, a larger sample size leads to a smaller error estimate. Since the Tribune had the largest sample size, option A is correct.
