I am not sure which specific information you are looking for but here’s what I know: During the Cuban Missile crisis the Soviet Union or USSR set missile in Cuba secretly, when the U.S found out they considered the missiles a threat due to the fact that Cuba is really close to the U.S and because the U.S didn’t have any missiles that could reach the USSR during the time. John F. Kennedy who was the U.S president at the time made an agreement with Nikita Khrushchev leader of the USSR, the agreement consisted for the USSR to remove all missiles from Cuba as long as the U.S didn’t invade Cuba. The USSR also wanted for the U.S to remove its missiles from Turkey but that didn’t make it into the agreement. Hope this helps!
