To determine if it is growth or decay, you just look if the y increases or decreases as x gets bigger. in this case as x gets bigger then y gets bigger, so it is growth.

to get y intercept, plug in 0 for x.and see what y equals. so:

y = 0.01(10)^0

anything raised to the zero power is 1. so:
y = 0.01 (1)
y = 0.01

that is y intercept.
