The best kind of model for the scientist to use is an interactive model of the planets' orbits on a computer.

<h3>What is the law of orbits?</h3>

Kepler's first law, also known as the law of orbits, describes the shape of planetary orbits. According to this law, the planet's orbits around the Sun are elliptical, despite having very small eccentricities.

For this reason, it is necessary to know all the orbits of the planets in an interactive way, since according to Kepler's law, the orbits decrease over time.

Each lung is fed oxygen by a separate bronchus. Please select the best answer from the choices provided. T F
marysya [2.9K]
Yes it is absolutely true that each lung is fed oxygen by a separate bronchus. There are actually two lungs and two bronchi. Each of the two lungs are safeguarded by the two ribcages as they are placed within the rib cages. The lungs actually consists of elastic sacs that contract and expand for taking in and releasing air. This way oxygen is passed into the blood and carbon dioxide is taken out from the blood and passed out. This is also the main function of the lungs.

Bacteria grow in a culture at a rate proportional to the amount present. Initially, 300 strands of the bacteria are in the cultu
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

(a) number of strands (n) = time (t) ÷ proportionality constant (k)

(b) The time needed for the bacterial to double its initial size is 3.36 hours.

Explanation:

(a) Let the rate (time) be represented by t and the amount (number) of strands of bacteria be represented by n

t is proportional to n, therefore, t = kn (k is the proportionality constant)

Since t = kn, then, n = t/k

(b) Initial amount of strands = 300

Amount of strands after 2 hours = 300 + (300 × 20/100) = 300 + 60 = 360

k = t/n = 2/360 = 0.0056 hour/strand

Double of the initial size is 600 (300×2 = 600)

Time (t) needed for the bacterial to double its initial size = kn = 0.0056×600 = 3.36 hours

Read the passage.
vlada-n [284]

A comma splice is basically a comma fault which means- when two independent clauses are joined by a comma to make one complete sentence. And an independent clause is a clause that can stand alone as a sentence.

So, here in the passage- Option C is correct one.

Lady Liberty is a woman holding a torch, it represents freedom. This sentence can be successfully broken into two complete sentences. Like- Lady Liberty is a woman holding a torch. It represents freedom.

There are two alleles, B and b, at a gene locus in a population at Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The relative frequency of the dom
viva [34]

Answer:

210

Explanation:

Frequency of dominant allele is represented by "p"

and frequency of recessive allele is represented by "q"

Given

p = 0.7

Thus,

q = 1-p\\q = 1 - 0.7 \\q = 0.3\\

As per Hardy Weinberg's second equation of equilibrium -

p^2 + q^ 2 + 2pq = 1\\

Substituting the given values in above equation, we get -

0.7^ 2+ 0.3^2 + 2pq = 1\\2pq = 1- 0.49-0.09\\2pq = 0.42

So the total number of heterozygous individual is equal to

0.42 * 500\\= 210
