What's the best way to solve that? I'm not understanding the whole LCD part

So it's  \frac{3p - 5}{2} = \frac{4p+24}{3}.

Then you cross-multiply, so then we have 9p - 15 = 8p + 48. Now just solve. 


Answer is p = 63.
