The answer is C. Soil is considered a non-renewable resource because it takes millions of years for soil to renew itself due to the long process of soil formation hence soil is easily degraded by human activity within a human lifespan. In the picture shown, the deforestation will cause the soil to be easily eroded by elements of erosion. This will lead to desertification of the region which will result in a domino effect on the rest of the forest.

Apply lesson concepts to explain why many prokaryotes are adapted for living at the normal internal temperature of the human bod
ankoles [38]

Many prokaryotes are adapted to live inside the body because the majority of bacteria are mesophilic.

Depending on the optimal temperature of development, there are three types of bacteria:

* Mesophilic bacteria prefer average temperatures between 20 and 40 ° C. The majority of bacteria is mesophilic. This is the case of pathogenic bacteria of man and animals, but also commensal bacteria of natural cavities, cutaneo-mucous membranes and especially saprophytic environmental bacteria involved in the degradation and recycling of dead organic matter. (necromass).

* The psychrophilic bacteria have an optimal temperature of development close to 0 ° C.

* Thermophilic bacteria can live at high temperatures (45 ° C in hot springs).

The sleep list experiment, in which many people misremember the word "sleep" as being part of a list of words, is an example of
Elden [556K]
It is an example of MISLEADING POST EVENT INFORMATION'S INFLUENCE ON MEMORY. The misinformation effect occurs when an individual's recall of memories becomes less accurate because of post event information. The new information which the individual received after the event works backward to distort the memory of the original event.

What pet ownership trend began in the 17th century? Why was this trend so popular and has it continued today?
natta225 [31]

Answer:

Pet keeping wasn't generally accepted in Europe until the end of the 17th century, and it wasn't common among the middle classes until the late 18th century. Pet keeping in its present form is probably a 19th century Victorian invention. At this time, it was perceived as a link with the natural world, which itself was no longer seen as threatening. It also allowed a visible demonstration of man's domination over nature.

In present-day societies, dogs have a number of functional roles, from ornamental to status symbol, as helpers, and as companions. Dogs can also act as a channel for personal expression because people express their personality in the breed they own. For example, rare breeds are often used as indicators of status. Guide dogs for blind people and hearing dogs for deaf people are examples of pets who are kept as helpers.

But the most common reason for owning pets in Western societies is companionship. In recent years, there's been a growing awareness of the very positive effects this relationship can have on human health and psychological well-being, and a recognition of the therapeutic value of companion animals.
