Neuropsychology is an interface area between Neurology and Psychology. On the one hand there is the detailed study of the nervous system and on the other there is the analysis of human behavior and psychological processes.  In short, neuropsychology is important because it investigates a person's cognitive, sensory, motor, emotional and social functions in order to detect any functional impairment.

I would choose this area of ​​psychology because a Neuropsychologist has the role of evaluating, investigating and hypothesizing to develop a patient treatment plan along with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. Besides being extremely important, this area provides great help to society.

In addition, neuropsychology would give me the opportunity to work as a researcher for the study of the brain associated with cognitive and behavioral performance as well as specialists working in the clinical context.
