What two things can alter the shape and function of an enzyme
mars1129 [50]

Temperature can cause an enzymes shape and function to alter due to the fact that once an enzyme reaches its optimum level, if it goes over it begins to denature. If the temperature is below optimum, then an enzyme will work at a slower rate.  Also, the pH can affect an enzyme.

What do many scientists believe about the purpose for asteroids.
katovenus [111]

Answer:

Various scientists describe asteroids in different ways:

  • Some scientists consider it to be rocks which orbit around the sun.
  • Other consider it to be small planets.

The majority of the scientists agree that asteroids might have come into existence at the time of solar formation. The parts which broke down during the formation of the solar system resulted in the formation of asteroids.

<u><em>Scientists believe that asteroids might not have a major function in the universe but studying them would be of great benefit. This is because as they are parts broken from the solar system, exploring them will let us know about some unknown features of the other solar system bodies. </em></u>

Which population is most likely to survive? (PLEASE ANSWER ASAP AND CORRECTLY, I WILL AWARD BRAINLIEST) (image below)
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

populations 1 and 2 will most likely survive.

Explanation:

so here's my thinking- seeing as how population 1 only has seals with thin blubber they will automatically survive because they won't need to adapt to the environment. but population 2 has both thin and thick blubbered seals and seeing as how the thick blubbered ones will most likely just die out the thin blubbered ones will 'take over'

good luck :)

i hope this helps

have a nice day !!
