William meyer has driven his used car 16,789 miles since purchasing it for $6500 two years ago. He spent a total of $1868 on gas

, oil changes, maintenance, and tires. He spent $815 on insurance and registration. The car has depreciated by $2100. What is the cost per mile?
(Depreciation is included with variable cost)

Cost per mile=(variable cost+fixed cost)divided by number of miles driven.

Heres where i need help... so i think that

Cost per mile=(1868+815+2100) divided by 16789 = about 0.28

That would mean the answer is $0.28
Is that right????

The manager of an orchard expects about 70% of his apples to exceed the weight requirement for ""Grade A"" designation. At least
mamaluj [8]

Answer:

356

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that p=0.7, and a 90% confidence interval. Also, we know the margin of error to be 0.04, the sample size is calculated as:

#The sample size is calculated as:

ME=z_{\alpha/2}\sqrt\frac{p(1-p)}{n}}\\\\0.04=1.645\sqrt\frac{0.7(1-0.7)}{n}\\\\n=\frac{0.7\times 0.3}{(0.04/1.645)^2}\\\\n=355.17\approx 356

Hence, at least 356 apples must be sampled to get a true proportion with the 4% ME.

In trapezoid ABCD with bases AB and DC , diagonals intersect at point O. Find the length of diagonal BD , if BO=6 cm and: AO/OC
aalyn [17]

Answer:

8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

... BO/OD = AO/OC = 3/1

Written another way, this is ...

... OD : BO = 1 : 3

Now, BD = OD + BO, so we have

... BD : BO = (OD +BO) : BO = (1 +3) : 3 = 4 : 3

That is, BD = 4/3 × BO

... BD = 4/3 × 6 cm = 8 cm

Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

A =5538.96 in^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a circle is given by

A = pi r^2

We know the radius is 42 and pi is approximated by 3.14

A = 3.14 * 42^2

A =5538.96 in^2
