I think that the answer is 1.98 hours .

7:30 + 30 minutes = 8 o'clock
8 o'clock +60 minutes = 9 o'clock
9 o'clock + 29 minutes = 9:29

60+30= 90+29=119

119 minutes= 1.98 hours
