Seca(1-sina)(seca+tana)=1
Left hand side
=(1-sina) (seca +tana) / cosa
=seca +tana - sinaseca - sinatan / cosa
=seca + tana -tana -(sin^2a/cosa) / cosa
=(1/cosa - sin^2a/cosa) / cosa
= (1-sin^2a / cosa) / cosa
= (1-sin^2a)/ (cos^2a)
=1 (verified)

RS has a midpoint at M(7, 10). Point R is at (8, 10). Find the coordinates of point s.
Elena L [17]

Answer:

S(6, 10)

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The Midpoint (in this case, M) will always be halfway between both R and S (or other characters in some cases).

2. As M is only one X value away from R, it is only 1 X value from S as well, but in the other direction.

3. (7, 10) - (1, 0) = (6, 10)

The (7, 10) is the Midpoint Coordinates.

The (1, 0) is the distance from M to R.

The (6, 10) is the coordinates of S.

Katrina deposited $500 into a savings account that pays 4% simple interest. How much interest will she earn in 3 years if she ma
Dovator [93]

Answer: the amount of interest after 3 years is $60

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for determining simple interest is expressed as

I = PRT/100

Where

I represents interest paid on the amount of money deposited.

P represents the principal or amount of money deposited.

R represents interest rate on the deposit.

T represents the duration of the deposit in years.

From the information given,

P = $500

R = 4%

T = 3 years

Therefore,

I = (500 × 4 × 3)/100

I = $60

What is the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle if each of the two legs is 7 units?
Katyanochek1 [597]

To find the hypotenuse of a right triangle you can use the Pythagorean theorem. (a² + b² = c²) Using the measurements provided we can solve like this.

Both a² & b² = 7²

7 x 7 = 49

49 + 49 = 98

Now we need to find the square root of 98 (c²) to get our answer.

9.9 x 9.9 = 98.01 or about 98

The measurements for the tirangle are 7 units, 7 units, and 9.9 units.

Hope this helps!
