If 45% of people chose coffee and 25% of people chose juice, but 15% of people chose both, then we’d have to subtract 15% from both amounts to find the percentage of people who chose that specific drink.

45-15=30%
25-15=10%

Now add those two together to get how many people prefer coffee or juice. 30+10=40%. If 40% out of 100% of people prefer coffee or orange juice, then the remaining percent of people must not prefer either of them.

100-40=60%.

Therefore, 60% of people prefer neither coffee nor juice.

In the year 2000, the population of a city was 600,000 citizens. The population increases at a rate of 1.8% per year.
Alona [7]
Y=600000(1+1.8%)^(x-2000)
So the population in 2012
Y=600,000×(1+0.018)^(2,012−2,000)
Y=743,232

Suppose a large population has a mean μand standard deviation σ, and a simple randomsample of size nis taken. The sampling distr
My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

(d) μ and σ²/n

Step-by-step explanation:

In a sampling distribution of sample means, the mean is equal to the population mean, which is μ.

The standard deviation of the sampling distribution of sample means is given by

σ/√n.

The variance of a distribution is the square of the standard deviation; this means the variance of the sampling distribution of sample means would be

(σ/√n)² = σ²/(√n)² = σ²/n

The ratio of irises to The ratio of irises to roses in Nikki's garden is 2:5. She currently has 25 roses. She is planning to add
denpristay [2]
If the proportion of iris to roses in Nikki's garden is 2: 5, it means that for 25 roses: (2/5) = (10/25). Therefore to maintain the proportion by adding 20 roses: (2/5) = (18/45). The number of irises after the addition of roses will be 10 + 18 = 28 irises.
