Answer:Each Y could equal 12

Step-by-step explanation:

You would divide each side of the equation y 3 to get y^2=144.

Next take the root of both sides to get y= ± 12

After that just separate the solutions and get 12.

(I hope this helps. I tried)

How do I do this? someone please help me

If you have to compare two shapes you basically count the number of shapes there are of each type then you say for example 6:4. If they ask you to give the number of shapes to the number of shapes there are you count all the shapes and then you count the shape they asked you to find and then you will get something like 4:15

The ANSWERS and how to get them
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer: The answers for question 3 are x = 5, y = 13, and z = 10.

Now for question #4.  The answer for those are a = 6.40312, b = 6.70820, c = 9.43398, d = 5.29150, e = 4.89898, f = 7.54983.

You would solve all these problems by using this formula a^2 + b^2 = c^2 with a and b representing two of the legs and c representing the hypotenuse (the longest side.)  Simply input the respective numbers for the appropriate variables and solve for the missing variable.

Now lastly question #5.  We just need to solve for the diagonal length.  The answers are as follows.  5.66, 7.07, and 9.9.  You get these answers by using the formula for finding a diagonal in a square which is d=\sqrt{}2a

crystal is picking blueberries.so far,she has filled 2/3 of her basket,and the blueberries weigh 3/4pound .the equation 2/3w=3/4
vesna_86 [32]
In order to do this, we multiply both sides be the amount that would make the left side equal to 1.  This number is the reciprocal of the fraction, so we multiply both sides by 3/2.  This is equal to:

w = 9/8

So, the blueberries in crystal's basket will weigh 9/8 pounds when it is full.
