Answer:

(a)Therefore,

The number of cup = 24

The number of plate = 48

and the number of balloons =12

(b) The total number of balloons = 24

(c)The number of plates that used in party is  24

The number of cups that used in party is =20

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Serena's mom bought balloons , plates and cups.

The number of plate was twice the number of cup.

The number of balloons was half the number of cups.

Let the number cup be x.

Since the number of plate was twice the number of cup.

The number of plate = 2x

Again the number of balloons was half the number of cups.

Then the number of balloons =\frac{x}{2}

Therefore the total number of cup, plate  and balloons is

=x+2x+\frac{x}{2}

=\frac{2x+4x+x}{2}

=\frac{7x}{2}

According to the problem,

\frac{7x}{2}=84

\Rightarrow x=\frac{84 \times 2}{7}

⇒x=24

Therefore,

The number of cup = 24

The number of plate =(2×24)= 48

and the number of balloons =\frac{24}{2} =12

(b)

Given that 12 number of balloons were bought by Tammy.

Now the total number of balloons = (12+12)= 24

(c)

Given, half the plates were used in party .

The number of plates that used in party is  =\frac{48}{2} = 24

And all but four were used in party means that 4 cups were not used in the party.

The number of cups that used in party is = (24-4) =20

Answer:

a) 888,888

b) 200,00

c) 888,888-200,000=688,888

step-by-step explanation:

the biggest number possible is 888,888 because 8 is the largest number and the question doesn't say that you have to use each number

200,000 is the smallest number because outside 0, 2 is the second-smallest number, and since 000,000 isn't a number 200,000 is the next best thing

good luck :)

i hope this helps

brainliest would be highly appreciated

have a nice day!
